Company Re-brand as Multistaff Recruitment Solutions Ltd
After the successful launch of its driving division in just 8 months, it surpasses all other sales and quickly becomes the company’s focus of recruitment. The company is relaunched, along with a full re-brand, with the vision to supply quality drivers across the West Midlands and beyond.

After a successful 12 months of managing the branch and building its driving recruitment division to become the main supplier of quality drivers across the West Midlands, Phil is appointed as Director with a view to obtaining shares within the company. Phil’s experience within the driving sector, coupled with his passion and vision for the company’s future, will ensure its growth, focus and brand in the marketplace.

John Sutton Invests in the Company as a New Shareholder - Director.
John Sutton exited the recruitment industry in 2017 after the sale of his own successful industrial and driving recruitment business, which he built from zero in 2009 to a £10 million-plus turnover business. After four years away from the industry, and after hearing Phil’s vision, who had also been a long-standing friend of his for many years, John decided he missed the industry too much and was excited about the vision for Multistaff. John agreed to invest in the company and joins as a new shareholder - director to work alongside Phil Ellson to help drive and expand the company to reach its full potential. John Sutton comes with over 20 years of recruitment experience within the Industrial and driving sector. This knowledge, as well as his proven experience of growing a successful recruitment business, coupled with the existing, strong relationship between the two directors, will guarantee the success of the company’s vision for growth.
Multistaff Relocates and Expands into New, Bigger Offices in Bromsgrove.
As part of Phil and John’s strategy for growth, it’s decided that bigger offices are required to house its head office and flagship branch. Bromsgrove, which is currently expanding with the building of over 360 new homes - whilst attracting new businesses into the area, was chosen as the perfect location. The move ensures the company can continue its supply and service to existing clients as well as expand further into Evesham, Birmingham and beyond.
Industrial Division is Launched.
As part of the company’s strategy for growth and to complement its successful driving division, whilst utilising the board of directors’ experience within the industry, Multistaff launches the industrial division.
Permanent Division is Launched.
To continue the company’s strategy for growth, and to offer further services that will carry the same quality, compliance, and professionalism to the company’s existing client base, Multistaff launches its permanent division - with the appointment of Caroline Davis who will head up the division. Caroline has over 25 years of experience within the permanent recruitment sector, which when coupled with her passion and excitement for Multistaff’s vision for growth will ensure the division’s success.
Worcester Bosch Chooses Multistaff as its Sole Supplier.
After receiving exceptional service and quality in its supply, Worcester Bosch enters a 3-year sole supply contract with Multistaff. This contract demonstrates the unrivalled service that Multistaff offers its clients.
Upgraded Investment into the Entire Front and Back-Office Systems.
After the successful launch of two new divisions and the continued growth of Multistaff, it was decided we must have the very best and most robust systems in place within our front and back-office functions. This included our main CRM to ensure that the quality of service and compliance we currently deliver does not dilute with growth and expansion. After many trials and assessments, a large investment was made into a new system that not only ensures the continued quality of supply but also enables us to offer our clients even further services in the future - designed to not only enhance compliance but also reduce our client’s admin and the time spent dealing with red tape.
Employment Agency Standards (EAS) Compliance Audit Passed in Full.
As Multistaff expanded and its brand became known further across the region for its supply and service, it was common within the industry for a compliance inspection audit to be carried out by the Employment Agency Standards (EAS). This was conducted in August of 2022 and after a 3-day full audit, Multistaff passed its inspection.
GLAA License is Awarded After Full Compliance Audit.
In order to supply into the agriculture and horticulture sectors, Multistaff applied for its GLAA licence. After a full inspection audit, Multistaff was awarded its licence to supply into these sectors.
Auriga App is Launched to Enhance our Service to Both our Clients and Workers.
To continue the company’s strategy for growth and enhance its services to clients, Multistaff invested heavily into its operating systems in July 2021, this enabled the company to add even further enhancements and the latest technologies including the launch of its Auriga app, after much testing in October 2022. The Launch of the Auriga app has enabled clients and workers to have everything at their fingertips via their mobile phones, this includes, but is not limited to, live timesheets, processing and authorisations, attendance tracking, instant messaging, live KPIs, financial reporting and much more.

Sharon Meredith is Appointed as Finance Manager
As Multistaff expands, so do all its back-office divisions and support functions. To ensure the growth in the company is stable and finances are managed in the best way possible, Multistaff identified the need for a full-time Finance Manager. Sharon joins Multistaff at an exciting time of growth and brings a wealth of experience to its entire back-office function.
Chris Thomas is Appointed as Branch Manager
Multistaff was now supplying both the driving and industrial sector, and it was important that its managers have experience in both areas. Not only does Chris Thomas have the experience required, but he also has a proven track record of achieving set goals for business growth when working with the director of Multistaff previously. This appointment is key for the company’s strategy for growth and to ensure quality and compliance are managed, and not diluted as the company expands.
